It can be easily tweaked into a CMS, but it does what it does perfectly out of the box if you intend to use it for blogging only.

What I really like is the community, WordPress and the developers involved think about everything; usability, look and feel, and functionality.

I have recently developed an advanced website on Joomla and I tell ya, it is very clear that everything Joomla related, is being developed by PROGRAMMERS - table structures, no validation, poor usability and what have you.
